About Me
I am a graduating senior at LSU's school of Mass Communication with a passion for storytelling, digital media, sports and the outdoors. With experience in radio, television and print journalism, I have a very well-rounded skillset that allows me to thrive in any situation.
My experience in radio began in high school where I spent four years in Baton Rouge Magnet High School's Radio Training Program. I continued working in radio at LSU as a sports reporter for 91.1 KLSU.
In my junior year, I made the move to Tiger TV where I have been a sports reporter, news producer and now podcast producer. Over three semesters at Tiger TV I was able to greatly improve upon my broadcast writing, video editing and many more skills.
My experience in print journalism comes from the nine months I spent as an intern on the digital team for The Advocate and NOLA.com / The Times-Picayune. I managed several digital duties inclduing push alerts, social media posts and website homepages across four markets. I also vastly expanded upon my writing through multiple digital stories and write-ups.
Additionally, I have several semesters of broadcast classes in which I was able to get multiple packages under my belt. I was also a camera operator for a Savannah Bananas game broadcast. When the Bananas came to Alex-Box Stadium, I manned the center-field camera for the first night's broadcast.
